I loved sipping complimentary Nespresso coffee while soaking in the luxurious roll-top bath after a long day of exploring. my recent stay here was delightful. the cozy double room was comfortable, and the food was fantastic, especially the breakfast with fresh croissants. unlike my previous visit to shipston, this experience at the george truly exceeded my expectations with its charming atmosphere.

The Classic Double Room was super comfy, seriously amazing bed for a good night's sleep! Everything was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom had plenty of good shower amenities, which I loved. Plus, tons of tea and coffee options were a nice touch. Just wish there was better lighting in the bathroom. had a little trouble with the Wi-Fi at times, but it didn’t ruin anything.

Despite a generally pleasant atmosphere, parking was quite limited—only a handful of spots available meant we couldn’t use the hotel’s lot during our stay. Breakfast could be improved. there was noticeable disorganization in food replenishment, and some items like bacon were undercooked, impacting the overall dining experience. the bar area became overcrowded, making it a challenge to find a comfortable place to enjoy a drink once the seating filled up.

The George provided a comfortable stay with a spacious and well-decorated Cosy Double Room. I was particularly impressed with the large walk-in shower and the high-quality evening meal, which complemented an excellent breakfast, featuring freshly baked pastries. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for both work and relaxation.
